Review

Following the route of the Tour de France, a solitary motorist Jean periodically stops off to pick up and kill prostitutes. During a rain storm, he runs into another young woman whose car has broken down.

Philippe GRANDRIEUX 
Born in 1954. GRANDRIEUX’s first three feature films, [#i_]Sombre[_i#], [#i_]A New Life [_i#]and A [#i_]Lake[_i#] demonstrate his profound and radical exploration of image, sound and narrative structures. In 2011, he directed his documentary, [#i_]It May Be That Beauty Has Strengthened Our Resolve - Masao Adachi [_i#]has been programmed at more than 50 festivals and universities. He also directed White Epilepsy, Meurtriere, and [#i_]Despite the Night [_i#]which is his latest work.
