Review

A family lives in an isolated house near a lake. Alexi, the brother is terribly close to his younger sister, Hege. The rest of family members are the silent witnesses to their overwhelming love.

Philippe GRANDRIEUX 
Born in 1954. GRANDRIEUX’s first three feature films, [#i_]Sombre[_i#], [#i_]A New Life [_i#]and A [#i_]Lake[_i#] demonstrate his profound and radical exploration of image, sound and narrative structures. In 2011, he directed his documentary, [#i_]It May Be That Beauty Has Strengthened Our Resolve - Masao Adachi [_i#]has been programmed at more than 50 festivals and universities. He also directed White Epilepsy, Meurtriere, and [#i_]Despite the Night [_i#]which is his latest work.
