Review

The director captures volcanic landscapes through her legs, then transforms them by combining visual and auditory elements to create sensory experiences entirely different from the raw footage. As in her earlier work Altiplano (2018), Malena Szlam continues to create a new type of geographical imagery. (Sung MOON)
