Family relationships are determined at birth and often involve subordinate dynamics that can be difficult to break free from. The strong bonds within a family can sometimes lead us to forgive or feel obligated to forgive acts of violence in the name of love. However, while we try to maintain the happiness of family and its members, we gradually become isolated on an island of household relationships, bound by the violent shackles of what is called love.
