A board game club takes place in a room, with slight tension around the mah-jong table. The head of the club doesn’t approve of the man one of the members has brought to the table. Everything the man says gets on his nerves, and on top of that, he’s pretty good at playing the game as well. Most importantly, the man seems to have a close relationship with the club member, who the head has been in love with. Citing the rules of the game as an excuse, the head tries to find an opportunity to hit the man with a toy hammer. Can’t he just take one swing at him? The film depicts human emotions and subtle changes to the atmosphere in a restricted situation with wit and nimble flair. (KEEM Youngle)
