In 2007, the North Korean women’s soccer team saw a miracle when they made it to the quarterfinals. Director Brigitte Weich followed the team from 2003 to 2007 and documented their success story through Hana, Dul, Sed… (2009). Five years later, Weich returns to North Korea with her camera to meet the four former players of the national team who were her protagonists in the film. After establishing the golden era in North Korean women’s soccer, the four retired players watch Weich’s film together and share their memories. They talk about various topics including their social standing as a female soccer player in North Korea, the expectations of their parents, appearance, and life after retiring. This film which was only possible based on the trust and friendship Weich built with the players during her previous film Hana, Dul, Sed… chooses the title …Ned, Tassot, Yossot… as the follow-up.
