This film brutally highlights the victimhood that is still thrust upon women today, how hard it is to escape from it, and how much influence it has. While the female-centric narrative has focused on sexual assault, this film puts a spotlight on what is typically called "secondary victimhood". Forced victimhood is extremely private and continues by becoming something that affects the victim, in some respects, even more than the assault itself. In other words, the assault remains like a stain that cannot be erased. The film's premise and direction may be polarizing, but it shines in its clear intention and directionality. (KIM Hyunjung)
