Alexey GERMAN Jr.

Born in 1976 in Moscow. He studied at the Russian Film School (VGIK) between 1996 and 2001. His feature debut [#i_]The Last Train[_i#](2003) premiered in the Venice IFF and received a special mention from the Future Lion jury. His second film [#i_]Garpastum[_i#](2005) was S\\ed to official competition of the 2005 Venice IFF. In 2008, his third feature [#i_]Paper Soldier[_i#](2008) premiered in Venice and was awarded with Silver Lion for the Best Director.
